After the dramatic comeback victory in the league against Parma, with two goals scored in stoppage time, Milan now has to focus on the Champions League, particularly the upcoming away match against Dinamo Zagreb.

A win would see the Rossoneri finish the league phase among the top eight in the standings, thus qualifying directly for the round of 16 without needing to play the playoffs. Sergio Conceição will be without several players, particularly in defense: Calabria is suspended, while Florenzi, Thiaw, Emerson Royal, and Loftus-Cheek are injured, in addition to Jimenez, Jovic, and Walker, who are not on the UEFA list.

Given the many absences, the surprise right-back is likely to be Fikayo Tomori, with Theo Hernandez on the left, and in the center of the Milan defense, two forced choices: Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic.

In midfield, the usual Youssouf Fofana will feature, with either Ismael Bennacer or Yunus Musah alongside him, with the American having the edge. Tijjani Reijnders will play as an attacking midfielder, with Christian Pulisic on one side and Rafael Leao on the other. The starting striker will once again be Alvaro Morata.

Milan's likely lineup:

Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Theo; Musah, Fofana; Pulisic, Reijnders, Leao, Morata.
