During his regular column for TMW, journalist Fabrizio Biasin discussed Milan, the upcoming Champions League night awaiting Sergio Conceição’s team, and the Rossoneri’s transfer market, which is expected to be intense in these final days:
"Milan comes into this match on the back of five consecutive Champions League victories. Three points against Dinamo Zagreb would secure one of the top and highly valuable eight spots. However, caution is needed—Dinamo still has a (difficult) chance to catch up to the playoff zone, and Milan will be missing several players: Thiaw, Loftus-Cheek, Emerson Royal, Calabria, Walker, and Jimenez (not on the squad list)."
"As for the transfer market: Striker Gimenez is getting closer. Milan will need to increase the variable portion of the deal to reach €35–40 million and convince Feyenoord, but the transfer does not appear to be in doubt."
