One month after his separation from Milan, Paulo Fonseca quickly found a new team.
The Portuguese coach has returned to France, but not to Lille, where he coached before Milan. Instead, he starts a new adventure with Lyon, who decided to part ways with Pierre Sage after last week's away draw against Nantes who are 14th in Ligue 1.
Paulo Fonseca, as stated in the official press release from the French club, has signed a contract with Lyon until June 30, 2027.
