Wednesday’s match against Lille in the Champions League could have been Santiago Gimenez's last game for Feyenoord.
According to reports from De Telegraaf, the Mexican striker’s move to Milan is nearly complete.

The Dutch newspaper states that if Milan raises the current offer under discussion once again, bringing the total to between 35 and 40 million euros, Gimenez will leave Rotterdam immediately to move to Milan. The parties are reportedly continuing to work tirelessly toward an agreement, which already exists between the player and Milan (a three-year contract with an option for a fourth year).
For now, however, any discussions have been postponed until after lunch, as the Champions League playoff draw is set to take place, where, ironically, Milan could end up facing Feyenoord.
