AC Milan with the same mistakes even under Conceicao?

For Milan, there were no excuses, no particular explanations, no alibis to present. What happened in Zagreb is the disastrous manifesto of Milan’s season, dragging along mistake after mistake—from the choice of the first and second coach, to correction after correction, and fundamental errors in decision-making, especially in the transfer market.

How can Matteo Gabbia’s blunder vs Dinamo Zagreb be explained?

his clumsy handling of a harmless ball, gifting the first goal to an equally harmless Dinamo? Only with a simple observation: because he, along with the rest of the team, especially in the first half, was under such crushing pressure that it could break anyone. That kind of pressure can lead even a serious and focused player like Gabbia to such a clumsy and inexplicable mistake.

By the way, Malawi betting is a good way to kill time and earn some important bonuses while attempting to win. Maybe if you are as lucky as Milan in their last game, you can hit the jackpot. With premium online casinos such as Games Global, OnAir Entertainment™, and Pragmatic Play you have access to the best slots, table games, and live dealer games. You won’t miss out on any opportunity to win because the flawless experience provided is not limited to a desktop site. In addition, there are safe transactions, good promotions, and constant customer service, so you are able to enjoy a rewarding and safe gaming experience.

How can Musah’s self-inflicted disaster be explained?

He committed two unnecessary fouls in ten minutes, earning an inevitable red card and leaving his team down to ten men, effectively condemning them to defeat. There is only one answer: the nervous fragility of a group unprepared to handle moments like these, reacting erratically and anxiously from the very first minutes (Pulisic’s protest was the first sign).

Yes, the referee also denied Leão a clear penalty, but by that point, the damage was already done. And so Milan, who incredibly seemed destined for the top eight before even starting, now drops to 13th place and faces the likely prospect of an all-Italian showdown with Thiago Motta’s Juventus—one that will surely take years off the lives of many fans.

At this point, it’s necessary to realistically assess what Sergio Conceição has brought to Milan in the few days he’s had, with very limited training sessions (barely ten in total). Based on the sequence of events, it’s clear that he has instilled a spirit of comebacks after disastrous starts, and let’s not forget the Supercoppa in Riyadh. But in terms of organized football and tactical balance? Almost nothing. Worse still, he has transmitted an excess of nervous energy through his own demeanor, something that is not always helpful when trying to heal a young squad left without a leader.

Now, however, Milan are working to fix mistakes.

With Sergio Conceicao, there are positive signs, even after the Champions League defeat against Dinamo Zagreb. The team, in fact, with Joao Felix, and Santiago Gimenez in attack, managed to beat AS Roma in Coppa Italia and Empoli away from home in the league. Now, the aim is to beat Feyenoord tonight in the Champions League round of 16 playoffs.

How did Sergio Conceicao react after the frustrating loss against Dinamo Zagreb?

"Every moment in the match went against us, but with that said, I don’t want to hide the lack of aggression in the first half,” he said in a press conference. “When the basics are missing, it becomes difficult: football is made up of constant defensive and offensive duels. I’m not saying anything extraordinary, but changing is not easy. We reacted, but why are we forced to react? We had far more motivation than them. The preparation was done in detail. Then, each person has to bring their own passion for football."

Conceicao added:

"Even the pitch wasn’t good, and the refereeing wasn’t at the right level. You can say a lot of things, but I won’t. I even put Terracciano on the right. These are facts, but I don’t want to dwell on them. For me, passion is more important, putting something extra of yourself into it. Otherwise, you can change the coach, bring in the best in the world, but it will still be difficult. The problem is the foundation. Honestly, playing a Champions League match like this, entering the game the way we did, is difficult..."

AC Milan with a lot of work to do to…

The Rossoneri certainly have a lot to do. They have signed two capable forwards in Joao Felix and Santiago Gimenez while offloading Alvaro Morata to Galatasaray. However, the team could sometimes be seen lacking in terms of performances especially in defence. Head coach Sergio Conceicao, will have to find the extra energy and motivation in his team and attempt to get his points across. But, there is not much time to do so.
