This morning’s edition of Il Giornale headlines as follows about Milan:
"Alex & Santi: The Rossoneri relies on the almost-namesakes."
Alex Jimenez and Santiago Gimenez were, alongside Rafael Leao, the protagonists of the action that led to the winning goal on Saturday for the Rossoneri against Hellas Verona: the Mexican striker scored from a pass by the Portuguese forward, but the decisive play came from the young Spanish winger, who surprised the opposition defence with a delicate chip, setting up his two teammates for a one-on-one with Montipò.

Tomorrow evening, Milan will be back on the field for the return leg of the Champions League playoffs against Feyenoord at San Siro (the score stands at 1-0 in favor of the Dutch from the first leg).
Leading the Rossoneri attack will once again be Santiago Gimenez, who, after scoring two goals in his first two league appearances, hopes to find the net in Europe against his former team. Jimenez, however, will not be available as he was not included in the UEFA list, so he won’t be at the disposal of Sergio Conceiçao.
