Fikayo Tomori spoke to Sky Sport on the eve of Milan - Feyenoord in the Champions League. Here are his statements:
Are you ready for tomorrow?
“Yes, not just me. We are well aware of Milan’s history in this competition. Tomorrow, we have an opportunity to do well. The Champions League is always special. We need to approach the match with a winning mentality, one that aligns with our history.”
Do you feel more comfortable with Sergio Conceição’s defensive approach?
“Obviously, the coach now has his own ideas about where I should be. I’d say we are more aggressive now. He wants us to step out on the attackers to force them into making mistakes. I like defending this way. With Fonseca, I tried to follow his instructions—sometimes I succeeded, sometimes I didn’t. That’s football. I have always tried to do my best for myself and for the team.”

Have you thought about leaving? Tomori said:
“No, I spoke with the people I needed to speak with. But in the end, I’m the one who comes to the training center every day, and I feel good here, I feel at home. In these four years, I’ve won two trophies, we could have won more. Now we have a stronger team, and I feel good here. As long as they don’t tell me to leave, I’m happy here.”
On Kyle Walker:
“He has integrated well. I see that, like he did at City, he brings experience and quality. He has played decisive matches in his career. He has brought us his experience. We are happy to have him—he immediately shared his ideas in the locker room.”
Four attackers, yes or no? What do you think?
“We want to win, whether we have two, three, or four attackers. The only thing that matters is winning and getting results. Some days we’ll have four, other days three. We want to win, and to do that, we need to run, as the coach says. We must give our all, regardless of the system.”
Can you do it tomorrow? Tomori commented:
“Yes, we are here to make history. We lost the first leg, but now we’re in front of our fans. These are the games I want to play."
