Milan has these last few months of the season to try to salvage what can be saved, after many of the season's objectives have (already) faded, such as the Champions League and the title race.

Sergio Conceiçao's team now has no choice but to aim for a rise in the league to secure fourth place, the minimum goal set by the ownership, alongside a Coppa Italia that they can still try to win.

The season's balance remains negative, however, which is why Milan will undergo a new internal reorganization in the summer.

This morning, Tuttosport couldn't use clearer words to describe Milan's situation. Everyone is at risk, without exception, including the management, composed of RedBird's trusted men.

This is confirmed by the fact that the club is reportedly exploring several profiles for the sporting director role, a position that is currently missing in the Rossoneri club management and is indispensable in Italian football.

The hottest names are those of Andrea Berta, former Atlético Madrid and a highly sought-after profile, especially in the Premier League, and former Juventus man Fabio Paratici. A little further behind are François Modesto and Igli Tare.

The sporting director, who would work in concert with CEO Giorgio Furlani, would allow Moncada to return to leading scouting and Ibrahimovic to become an advisor.

The choice of sporting director could also determine the decision on the coach, with Sergio Conceiçao currently unsure of his future at the club.

The Portuguese could earn confirmation only if Milan were to rise in the standings and secure fourth place by the end of this season, which has been full of ups and downs.

Many Milan players will spend these final months of the season with a question mark over their heads.

Among the potentially uncertain profiles are Emerson Royal, Tomori, Chukwueze, Loftus-Cheek, Jovic, but also and especially Theo Hernandez, who we could say has jeopardized his confirmation at Milan with the red card on Tuesday against Feyenoord.

In addition to that, uncertain are the futures of Tammy Abraham, Joao Felix, Riccardo Sottil, and Filippo Terracciano, who will have these months to convince Milan.
