Filippo Galli, former Rossoneri footballer, made some statements to Messaggero Veneto on the sidelines of a lecture at the University of Udine titled "Leadership, Management Style of Work Groups," focusing on the current situation of Milan under Sérgio Conceição. Here are his words.

If Milan must look ahead:
"At this point in the season, Milan has no choice but to focus solely on the next match. The Champions League is gone, but they must at least secure a spot in the Europa League. The Rossoneri cannot stay out of European competitions."
On how to bounce back:
"They need to take it one game at a time; there's no point in making medium-to-long-term plans. There's also a two-legged Coppa Italia semifinal to play, but first and foremost, the team must regain confidence in its own abilities. This is not a Scudetto-winning team, but it is one capable of finishing in the top four."
If it's better without European competitions:
"Let's not joke. Milan must be in Europe."
On Sérgio Conceição’s approach, Filippo Galli said:
"I heard him say that football is simple. By saying that, in my opinion, he sent the wrong message to his players, almost as if results should come automatically. But that’s not the case. You build results day after day through hard work in training."
