A lot of things will change at Milan from now to the next few months, also because it's necessary to reset and forget about all the mistakes made this season as soon as possible.
The conditions to do well were all there.
The team was also reinforced in the summer (or at least it seemed that way) to achieve the goal of fourth place, but the continuous instability and fragility of the Rossoneri team has led them today to ninth place in the standings, with as many as 11 points behind the Champions League zone.
In these cases, it’s said that the fish stinks from the head, and indeed, this is the case, also because the disastrous results of this Milan reflect the wrong decisions made by the management in the summer.
Now they are trying to remedy this, although it’s a bit late, as the season is slipping away more and more.
But it is precisely in times like these that the future starts to be planned, with the Rossoneri's future involving a new and important revolution.
All these changes will, however, only begin when the figure of the sporting director is introduced into the management, which Milan has actually been missing since Ricky Massara’s departure. In the past few weeks, many names have been considered for this role, but the two in the running are Fabio Paratici and Igli Tare, who were among other things met by Milan in recent weeks in London.
Between the former Juventus and the former Lazio, the latter seems to be the favorite, with Milan expected to make a definitive decision by the end of this week, according to Corriere dello Sport, so they can seriously start planning the next season, starting with who will sit on the bench and which players will be part of the Rossoneri project.
