Carlo Pellegatti, intervening on Pressing, spoke like this about Milan, which is searching for a new sporting director:
"We have understood that Furlani went to Cardinale to clearly understand the divisions within Milan. Now it will be up to him to make decisions also at the sporting level. Someone says that it has been like this for two years, but in reality, Furlani had said that it is true that all decisions go through him because he has the signing power, but the technical part was up to Moncada and Ibrahimovic. Instead, now, even on technical matters, the final word will belong to Furlani, so much so that this week he will conduct another round of interviews with potential candidates for the role of sporting director."

Pellegatti added:
"In Milan's list, Berta is no longer there, while Tare and Paratici are still present. I do not believe in Thiago Scuro, who is the general director of Monaco, and I do not think he would come to Milan to be a sporting director under someone else, just as I do not think that the sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt, Markus Krösche, will be chosen because a figure who knows Italian football is needed. Tare seemed to be the favorite, but his stock is declining, while Paratici’s is rising."
