Antonio Cassano, as every Monday evening, was a guest on the Viva El Futbol podcast with Lele Adani and Nicola Ventola.
The former player of Milan, Inter, and Sampdoria talked about Joao Felix, who is going through a difficult moment: "I really rate Joao Felix. But I look at the field: he comes from Benfica, who sold him for over 100 million. At Atletico Madrid, he couldn't find the right chemistry. He goes to Barcelona and does well for a couple of months, then they let him go and don't buy him back. Then he goes to Chelsea, and shortly after, they let him go. He comes to Milan, does something at first, and then nothing."
Cassano then concluded:
"There's something I don't get: is he introverted? Doesn't he have a great personality? He hasn't found the right chemistry with a coach who can push and motivate him. The talent he has drives me crazy, but at the same time, it's been six or seven years now that he should be playing at a high level, yet he's not. When you play in that position, you have to make a difference: take the hits, get the ball, you have to take risks. Right now, I don't know how to interpret it."
