Two years at Roma, then his breakthrough at Chelsea. Finally, the move to Real Madrid, where his growth has been exponential. Antonio Rüdiger, defender for Los Blancos and the German national team, clarified his potential club future during a press conference on the eve of the match against Italy.

The defender made it clear that he has a strong connection to Italy, where he spent two seasons wearing the Giallorossi jersey:
"For me, Italy was very important in the past; I learned a lot defensively. And I also enjoyed life there, especially the food—Italy has the best pasta and the best cuisine. There are clubs like Roma, Napoli, Juventus, Inter, Milan—big, important clubs," he stated.
However, Rudiger's future remains at Real Madrid, at least for now:
"In football, you never know, but I’m very happy where I am and I’m not thinking about what the future holds."
