During the usual episode of the Chiamarsi Bomber, journalist Fabrizio Biasin spoke about Milan and the delicate issue of selecting a new sporting director—a decision that will not only shape the planning for next season but also define the future identity of the Rossoneri:

"Milan in chaos? It can be simplified in just one way: the Milan management needs to take a step back from the mistakes made last summer and approach things with a bit more simplicity. That means hiring a sporting director and actually letting them do their job. Choosing a good coach and giving them the conditions to work well. Both figures must be Italian because, with a good Italian coach—and I'll tell you right now, I would absolutely go for Allegri—and a competent sporting director... I would have picked Tare, but I think they're leaning towards Paratici. If Milan adopts this kind of vertical structure, they can go back to doing what they've always done: great things. But if they continue with the horizontal approach, where everyone decides together, they won't get anywhere."
Biasin continued to talk about Milan:
"If they go down this path, it would be a smart move. Because Allegri knows Serie A better than anyone and is someone who can navigate any kind of situation. If they bring in a good sporting director, it’s the right decision. But the sporting director must have the freedom to do their job. If you hire a sporting director but then tell them, 'Look, you can’t do this, you can’t choose that,' then you’re back to square one. But if you hire a coach—Allegri—and a strong sporting director (in my opinion, Tare would be better, but if you prefer, put Paratici there) and let them do their jobs, Milan will return to doing what they’ve always done."
