Olivier Giroud, former Rossoneri striker, commented on his years at Milan. He spoke to 'Le Parisien' as follows:
"I had nine wonderful years in England, but I could hardly find a better league than Serie A. Playing for the great Milan and winning the Scudetto in 2022 was incredible. As a child, I was a fan of that club, so having the chance to defend those colors for three years was a tremendous pride. I had the opportunity to work with Maldini, Pioli, Ibra… In Italy, I had fun. The passion of the fans and the love for football? I had never experienced anything like it before. San Siro is the true temple of football."

Giroud then also spoke about Zlatan Ibrahimović:
"He is different from what one might imagine: he may seem arrogant, but in reality, he has great charisma. In the locker room, he shows great care for the well-being of the group and is always very attentive. He is demanding both with himself and with the team, especially with the younger players. Zlatan is a driving force, a true leader; he has the ability to improve those around him. We share fundamental values such as respect, commitment, and professionalism."
