After returning from a week in Dubai, Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani immediately immersed himself in the search for the club’s new sporting director.
The Rossoneri executive wasted no time and, in recent days, met with one of the leading candidates for this prestigious position, Fabio Paratici.
On his part, Paratici is reportedly assessing the best way to part ways amicably with Tottenham owner Daniel Levy, who has been particularly supportive of him during his suspension (which will expire in the summer).
However, the meeting between Furlani and Paratici has not yet led to a definitive agreement. According to MilanNews.it, Milan intends to take more time after discussions with the former Juventus and Tottenham executive. This is because Furlani will continue talks with other candidates for the sporting director role, such as Igli Tare and Tony D’Amico, although Paratici remains the frontrunner.
What initially seemed like a decision to be made by the end of the month will now be delayed by a few more weeks.
