AC Milan is preparing to pick up the threads of its season again after the international break, which did not bring any football action but plenty of talk about the club’s future. On one hand, the search for a new sporting director, with Fabio Paratici in pole position on Giorgio Furlani’s ideal shortlist; on the other, speculation and hypotheses regarding the potential new Rossoneri coach for next season.

Speaking as a guest on Radio 24’s Tutti Convocati, journalist and well-known Rossoneri supporter Carlo Pellegatti shared his thoughts. Here is an excerpt of his comments, as relayed via Milannews.it:
"Sporting director? They’ve only just started the casting process, and I believe the decision won’t come before the end of April. Paratici spoke at length with Milan the other day, but he is under pressure from Tottenham, who want an answer."
Pellegatti continued to talk about Milan:
"Fabregas? The Rossoneri club might be interested in him, but he needs to figure out if he can free himself and if he feels ready—he must avoid the mistake Thiago Motta made: going to Milan, Inter, or Juve is a whole different sport."
