While waiting to see how Milan’s season will conclude on the pitch, work continues at the club to find a new sporting director to add to the Rossoneri’s organizational structure. As reported by Corriere della Sera in this morning’s edition, Fabio Paratici, who recently had a long meeting with Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani, remains the favorite ahead of Igli Tare.

The search for the new sporting director of the Rossoneri club is expected to last a few more weeks, however. In fact, after hiring sporting director, it will be the coach’s turn.
Once appointed, the new sporting director will immediately have a crucial task: selecting the next head coach. Sergio Conceição’s fate is already sealed—without qualification for the next Champions League, the Portuguese coach is set to depart.
