Sandro Tonali, former Rossoneri midfielder now at Newcastle, gave an interview to Peppe Di Stefano for Sky Sport Italia, during which he also spoke about the goal he scored at San Siro a few days ago with the Italian national team under the Curva Sud:

"Since we knew I would play at San Siro, I thought about it constantly. I didn’t know I would score, but I hoped for it: playing further forward gives me the chance to score. It was nice to do it there."
Tonali also shared his thoughts on the Coppa Italia derby between Milan and Inter scheduled for Wednesday:
"Milan is going through a delicate situation, Inter is much more serene. But in football, you never know: I hope it goes a certain way, but we know that the solidity of the Nerazzurri and the skill of their experienced players can make the difference… I will definitely watch it."
