The saga about Milan’s new sporting director seems to have reached its final chapter:
"The Rossoneri have chosen. Summit in London with Furlani-Cardinale for Paratici as sporting director"
is today’s headline from Gazzetta dello Sport, explaining that yesterday there was a long meeting in the English capital between CEO Giorgio Furlani, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale, and Fabio Paratici. The final agreement between the parties has not yet been reached, but Milan now seems to have chosen the former Juventus and Tottenham executive as the new sporting director.

Paratici has always been the big favorite...
Paratici has long been at the top of the preferences of the club. Other profiles were evaluated, such as Igle Tare and Tony D’Amico, but no in-depth discussions took place because, in reality, Milan had already been quite clear about its choice for the new sporting director.
The contract has not yet been signed because some issues still need to be defined, such as the internal balance within the Rossoneri management. Further changes in the sporting area are not ruled out, which today sees Moncada as the technical reference and Ibrahimovic as an external consultant with a scope of action that has never been fully clarified.
