Sergio Conceicao spoke to Sportmediaset’s microphones after Milan-Inter. These were the words of the Rossoneri coach:
“We are halfway through, now we await the second leg where there is the chance to reach a final that we want so much. I thank the fans, who were fantastic. It was a balanced match against a tough opponent that we know well. We played an intelligent game, and I’m happy about that."

"We also had our chances. Inter’s chances came from corners and throw-ins, and they caused us some problems in the first half. But we also had two chances per half. In the end, I think the result is fair. I’m really pleased with the attitude—we had already done well from the second half against Napoli. We must try to reach our goal, which is to win the Coppa Italia."
Conceicao added:
"We prepared the match based on their characteristics. It wasn’t easy; we had to move the ball quickly to create numerical superiority. We worked on this, and when we found space, we created difficulties for them. It’s true that we could have done more, but Inter often tries to slow down the game, and they are strong defensively."
"Problems? I’ve been here for three months, which is not much. I arrived, and we immediately won the first two matches in the Supercoppa, then we played every three days. It’s only been two weeks that I’ve had the team freer to work and find continuity. For me, this is not an excuse; it’s the truth. Intensity is trained as well. Now we are trying to provide these responses, like today or like in the second half against Napoli, where we were much more compact.”
