Sergio Conceição, Milan's head coach, is present at the press conference following the derby against Inter, which was the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal.
Milan a team until the end?
"The approach and attitude were there from start to finish. We made a few mistakes during the match, but it was a balanced game. We were up against a strong team that knows itself very well. But overall, it was positive," as relayed via Milannews.it.
A complicated match? Conceicao replied:
"The second leg will be important for both teams. There are still 90 minutes and more to play. Today’s game was balanced. There is some regret for not maintaining the lead. Now we focus on other matches, and then we really, really want to win the return leg to reach the final."
Did the team show less courage after going 1-0 up?
"We always want everything to be perfect. But during a match, there are ups and downs. I liked what we did because it was exactly what we worked on, despite having very little time—arriving on Monday at four in the morning—and in two days, we have another match."
Do you have the impression that Milan can put Inter in difficulty?
"Yes, I have that impression."
