Mike Maignan gave an interview to DAZN microphones at the end of Milan-Fiorentina, a match that ended in a 2-2 draw for the Rossoneri.
Here are the words of the captain:
"It’s true that we have this strength of never giving up, conceding a goal and then pushing forward. It would be good if we didn’t concede goals, but unfortunately this is how things are at the moment. We must always try to move forward and keep this fire of never giving up."
On his performance, Maignan:
"I’ll tell you the truth. There’s a period where you make fewer saves, it happens. I’ve always stayed positive, I never gave up. Now the wind is starting to turn and that’s good for me."
On the impact of the substitutes:
"The group is focused, everyone is working well every day. People don’t see the work we put in daily — they only see the results. I know how focused this group is on working hard and how ready they are to give everything for Milan."
