Milan start terribly against Fiorentina, conceding two goals in the first ten minutes of the match. Then the Rossoneri reduce the deficit through Abraham and equalize in the second half with Luka Jovic, who scores his second goal in a row.
The 2-2 draw doesn't help either Conceicao's team or Palladino's, as the distance between the two sides remains unchanged in the standings. After the match, Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino spoke to Sky Sport 24. Here are his words:
Is there satisfaction in leaving San Siro with some regret?
“Today we came here to San Siro and faced a great team, individually impressive, with quality players who can light up at any moment. We played a great game, full of personality and intensity. We had many chances to win it. I think it was a beautiful match—either side could have won or lost. I liked the team’s attitude and growth. We're on the right path. We picked up 7 points against Milan, Atalanta, and Juventus.”
Have you made peace with Albert Gudmundsson?
“All players want to stay on the pitch in such an important match. For me, they are all important—I needed fresh legs.”

Could you have relied more on Moise Kean?
“True, especially during ball recovery. Milan in the second half started anticipating him, they were afraid of our counterattacks. Moise put in another great performance. He caused problems for Milan’s defense, but the whole team played well, including our phenomenal goalkeeper. It's been years since I’ve seen such an exciting match—great for Italian football.”
How valuable is this point? Do you believe in the Champions League race?
“I have to be the firefighter—I need to keep a low profile. We’re growing. We’ve taken a good path: we have seven more matches and we want to compete in all of them. We're in good physical and mental shape. There's a sense of seriousness—we must stay humble and keep working. Everything is still open.”
Have you understood the mistakes made during the season? Why were things going wrong? Palladino replied:
“Against mid-table teams, we had moments of hesitation: against Verona, against Torino... We dropped points along the way. From now until the end of the season, our goal is to put in great performances against teams lower in the standings. We must stay on track. Anything can happen.”
