During his regular editorial for TMW, Niccolò Ceccarini provided an update not only on AC Milan’s incoming transfer market activity but also on the future of Mike Maignan at the club. The goalkeeper, in fact, seemed to have finally returned to his top form yesterday against Fiorentina:

"Finally, Milan. The priority now is the new sporting director. It remains to be seen who will be chosen after negotiations with Paratici came to a halt. In the meantime, some players already have a market. One of them is Maignan. In recent times, there have been no developments regarding his contract renewal, despite a general agreement being in place."
He continued:
"Chelsea and Aston Villa have already made inquiries. They could soon decide to move more concretely. In defense, Milan are keeping a close eye on Coppola from Verona. The Italy U21 international is now in his third season as a starter for Verona in Serie A. The Rossoneri are considering him as an option in case Tomori leaves."
