Massimo Oddo spoke at a press conference after the 2-1 victory against Sestri Levante. Here are the words of the Milan Futuro coach:

“We’re happy with this win; we’re reaping the rewards of previous matches where we deserved more. We earned the victory and showed all the quality we had. Sestri are tough opponents—they caused us problems. We did well moving the ball forward. The team deserved this win, especially in the second half. At times we’re a bit hasty, but we’re growing. There aren’t many differences compared to the other teams I’ve coached.”

Oddo added:

“At Milan Futuro, there are players with great potential for growth and ambition. This will help them gain experience. They have the qualities needed to develop on a moral level as well. Today’s victory gives us momentum and calm as we aim for the best possible position ahead of the playouts," as relayed via MilanPress.it.

On Alex Jimenez, Oddo said:

"He started his journey with us. He came today because he was suspended—Bartesaghi, for example, was called up to the first team. We’re happy for him. Our job is to help young players grow. We’re not on the level of Entella or Ternana, but we are on par with Sestri, SPAL, and Legnago. Serie C will help them gain experience."
