There was a bit of apprehension about the condition of Santiago Gimenez, who came off banged up at the end of the match against Fiorentina after a collision with De Gea and a heavy fall on his left side.
The Mexican player, reports Peppe Di Stefano on Sky Sport Italia, although still feeling a bit of pain, underwent instrumental tests which did not reveal any injuries. The player will therefore be monitored day by day with the hope that he can be available for Friday night's match against Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium.
