Milan’s season is one to forget. A Supercoppa and a potential Coppa Italia victory would not be enough to ease the disaster of finishing ninth in the league and consequently missing out on Champions League qualification—especially considering that the expectations at the beginning of the season included the ambition of fighting for the Scudetto, a goal that the Rossoneri never even came close to this year.
Fabio Ravezzani, director of TeleLombardia, spoke about Milan’s season in an exclusive interview with MilanNews.it.
Now Igli Tare and Tony D’Amico are front-runners. Are they profiles suited to Milan?
"If Cardinale’s Milan wants to be a club that signs players, develops them, sells them on, and generates capital gains, then they are the best available. Tare did many excellent things at Lazio—he’s a bit rough around the edges, but he seems competent to me. And as a former player, he can make his presence felt in the dressing room, striking the right chords. If anything, I wonder why he remained without a job for so long."
