Fabio Ravezzani, director of Telelombardia, shared this thought on X regarding the issue of AC Milan's new sporting director and the failed arrival of Fabio Paratici at the Rossoneri club:
"I can’t believe that Milan could be so naïve as to be surprised that a banned executive cannot operate. That would be the end. But what remains inexplicable is the delay in a strategic decision like appointing the sporting director (there are 2-3 names) — the architect of the team, not a youth team full-back."

During an event at San Siro organized by the newspaper Il Foglio, AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni also spoke about the potential new sporting director, stating:
“Certainly, we continue to look around because we want to strengthen our team. We want to reinforce the squad but also those who work around it. Nothing has been decided yet; we are making inquiries to see who would be the most suitable people to strengthen the management. A decision will be made in the coming weeks. But for the moment, no decision has been taken," as relayed via Milannews.it.
