Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport headlines this morning:
“Ok, the formation is right. This is how the three-man defense transforms Milan. Pavlovic on top.”

On Friday against Udinese, Sergio Conceição decided to change formation and switch from the 4-2-3-1 to the 3-4-3. The team’s response was excellent both in attack and defense, and thus a clear 4-0 victory arrived thanks to goals from Leao, Strahinja, Theo Hernandez, and Reijnders.
Clean sheet after two months. Pavlovic on top...
With this new formation, Milan appeared much more balanced and solid in defense. Particularly in the backline, the excellent performance of Strahinja Pavlovic should be highlighted beyond the goal: the Serbian, alongside Tomori and Gabbia, locked down the Rossoneri, who hadn’t finished a match without conceding a goal since last February 15 (Milan-Verona 1-0).
