Milan is in search of a sporting director for next season, but not only that; one of the topics that will soon become very heated is that of the new coach, with Conceicao unlikely to remain on the Rossoneri bench. Carlo Pellegatti, guest on the podcast 'Area Fritta', speaks about the situation regarding Max Allegri, currently without a team:
“I spoke with him the other day because unfortunately one of his horses got injured and I feel bad about that, and it came in second. We’re talking about Max Allegri. When the rumors came out (about the possibility of seeing him again at Milan), he absolutely did not confirm them to me, while still respecting the sources. But he told me no, that it’s not true."
Pellegatti added:
"In my opinion, Allegri has never been contacted by Milan. I don’t know if the club even likes him that much. Then of course, if there’s the buffer of the sporting director, then he can speak with the club and so on. But Milan at this moment—can I tell you something?—is totally at a standstill.”
