Today’s edition of Tuttosport headlines the future of Milan as follows:
"First Tare’s yes, then Allegri or Italiano."
After the positive meeting two days ago in Rome with Rossoneri CEO Giorgio Furlani, Igli Tare is the strong favorite to become the new sporting director of the club, although the final decision has not yet been made by the Milan club, and for this reason, all other candidates—particularly Tony D'Amico, who is still under contract with Atalanta, should not yet be ruled out.

Milan bench: with Tare as sporting director, it’s between Allegri and Italiano...
The first decision that the new sporting director will have to make concerns the Milan bench. If Tare is chosen, the two main candidates to become the new coach of the team are Massimiliano Allegri and Vincenzo Italiano.
The former is currently free, while the latter, whom the Albanian already wanted at Lazio, is currently leading Bologna and is in full contention for a place in the Champions League.
