The positive streak of AC Milan Women comes to a halt in Biella against Juventus, who mathematically secure their sixth Scudetto in the last 8 years thanks to the final 2-0 score signed by Cristiana Girelli.
For the Rossonere, it is the first defeat in the Scudetto Pool after 2 wins and 3 draws. With this result, there is a verdict: Bakker’s team can no longer reach third place and qualify for the Women’s Champions League.

The first half is balanced, but without major chances. The Bianconere break through at the end thanks to a penalty converted by Girelli: the referee punishes an alleged foul by Sorelli on the Bianconere number 10 in the 45th minute, and the latter scores from the spot past Fedele (who was replacing Giuliani, out due to a muscular issue). The second half begins with a cold shower for the Rossonere: Girelli finds an immediate second goal in the 47th minute, taking advantage of a deflection off Sorelli on her shot that wrong-foots Fedele as she comes out. AC Milan Women have chances with Renzotti, Ijeh, and Laurent, but fail to capitalize. Now the derby, then Roma to close out the season, as relayed via Milan Press.
