La Gazzetta dello Sport headlines this morning:
"Reijnders, a year as a true Rossoneri: he is Milan’s leader."
Together with Christian Pulisic, the Dutch midfielder is without a doubt one of the few bright spots of the disappointing Rossoneri season.

The former AZ Alkmaar player is having a superb campaign, in which he has already scored 14 goals and has become an even more indispensable element for Milan, who have secured him with a contract renewal until 2030. Tijjani Reijnders, with 10 goals all from open play in this Serie A, has become the second Dutch player to reach double figures in goals with Milan in a single league season.
In fact, after Marco Van Basten (five times – 1988/89, 1989/90, 1990/91, 1991/92 and 1992/93). Specifically, among midfielders in the top five European leagues who have scored all their goals from open play, only Jamal Musiala (12/12) has more than the Rossonero this season (10/10, same as Hamed Traorè).
