During the usual appointment with his editorial for TMW, director Niccolò Ceccarini provided a bit of an update on what Milan’s incoming and outgoing strategies are and will be in the upcoming summer transfer window, still waiting to find out who the new sporting director will be:
"The league is entering its final phase, but many clubs are already active with plans for the future. For Milan, a mandatory step is the choice of the sporting director. After the Paratici operation came to a halt, the Rossoneri once again explored the possibility of Tare, but for the moment no decision has been made. And this, obviously, is slowing down some market situations."

Ceccarini added:
"Not one that concerns a long-standing clear target. Because regardless of any arrivals in the club, Milan has decided to make a strong investment for next year on Samuele Ricci for the midfield. He is the big signing for this department. Torino values him at no less than 35 million euros, but Milan is ready to move forward decisively. It is clear that this is a very expensive operation, but the Rossoneri have some outgoing players they can cash in on."
