Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta’s head coach, spoke to DAZN microphones before the match against Milan:
"Kossounou is coming off a long injury, he’s training with the team but he needs a longer break-in period. I hope to have the chance to bring him on, the same goes for Toloi who had some issues in the past weeks—he always has the Atalanta shirt stitched onto him, but maybe more during the match than from the first minute."
Are all the teams up front running? Gasperini replied:
"We are there too, now we’re focused on our own path which goes through this very important match: it’s an extraordinary league with many teams within a few points fighting for Europe. Our journey has been extraordinary, we played against Barcelona and Arsenal without going under, but it’s also true that we need to collect (points). We know very well what we have to do, and the win against Bologna becomes even more valuable considering what they managed to do today against Inter."
