Il Giornale, on newsstands this morning, headlines about AC Milan:
"The usual complaints from Conceição, who’s doing worse than Fonseca."
The win in Udine was just a flash in the pan—on Sunday came another defeat, this time against Atalanta at San Siro, bringing the number of losses to eight in the 14 matches Milan has played so far against the top eight teams in the standings.

The coaching change at the end of 2024 was supposed to be a turning point in Milan’s season, but instead, Sergio Conceição has a lower points average than his predecessor Paulo Fonseca (1.58 compared to 1.75 with the same number of matches).
After the Atalanta match, Conceição complained about the many rumors circulating for months regarding the future of Milan’s bench:
"From the first day I arrived, I started reading about candidates for my job. There needs to be respect, I don’t know how many years it’s been since Milan was in the running to win two titles."
