Tomorrow, over in Rome, there will be a new summit between Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani following the one that took place before the Easter holidays. The news, broken by Orazio Accomando, and confirmed by those at MilanNews.it with sources close to the Rossoneri club. A new face-to-face meeting that suggests their discussions could go even more in-depth after the more than four hours of the first encounter, where the parties assessed each other and talked about various topics, from areas of responsibility to decision-making processes and the collaborators with whom Tare could work should he be chosen. It is still not certain whether tomorrow’s meeting will be the decisive one.

New Milan sporting director: the names Tare has put forward for the bench...
It is no secret that Igli Tare also spoke with Furlani about which profiles might be deemed suitable for the post–Sergio Conceição. The names that have emerged most insistently are those of Massimiliano Allegri, currently a free agent just like Tare, and Vincenzo Italiano, who is enjoying a superb season leading Bologna and was already considered by Tare when he was Lazio’s sporting director for the post–Simone Inzaghi. Keep an eye on other profiles, also Italian, that could enter the race. A conceivable name is Gian Piero Gasperini, who is leaving Atalanta and who already entered Milan’s radar—albeit peripherally—a year ago when candidates were being evaluated for the post–Stefano Pioli.
New Milan sporting director: Tony D’Amico is not out of the race just yet...
The fact that Furlani will see Tare again tomorrow does not rule out the profile of Tony D’Amico, currently under contract with Atalanta, who is another name that has remained hot among the candidates after discussions with Fabio Paratici collapsed.
