The decision on Milan's new sporting director could be postponed until after the Coppa Italia final.
This is what La Gazzetta dello Sport writes this morning, which, regarding the selection process being carried out personally by Giorgio Furlani, reports that contacts are also continuing between the Rossoneri CEO and Igli Tare following last week’s meeting in Rome.

The Albanian remains an option for the club, which appreciates the knowledge and personality of the former Lazio man, who is currently free on the market and could therefore begin working with Milan right away.
The same cannot be said for the other candidates still in the running, namely Giovanni Sartori of Bologna, Giovanni Manna of Napoli, and Tony D'Amico of Atalanta. Furlani is taking his time and continues to reflect, and who knows, behind this wait there might just be the intention to hold out for someone who still needs to be released from their contract with another club. At the moment, however, none of the three appears to have opened the door to a departure and a move to Casa Milan.
Milan, time is passing...
Therefore, it will take a little more time before discovering the Rossoneri's final decision on the new sporting director. But in the meantime, time is passing, and this is not a positive thing for a club that, after a rather disappointing season, must rebuild significantly and also make other important choices, such as the one concerning the new coach who will take the place of Sérgio Conceição, destined to leave even if he ends the season with two trophies lifted (the already-won Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia).
