"Paratici at Cardinale’s, but he won’t be the sporting director"
That is the headline this morning in Corriere della Sera, which explains that the soap opera regarding the new sporting director Milan is looking for has gained a new episode. In recent days, Gerry Cardinale, head of RedBird and owner of the Rossoneri club, met Fabio Paratici in a luxurious hotel on Lake Como.

This face-to-face meeting, however, did not lead to any plot twist: the former Juventus executive will not become Milan’s new sporting director, as his future lies with Tottenham.
For Milan, two strong names remain in the running: Igli Tare, who has the advantage of being free and therefore could start working for the Rossoneri club immediately, and Tony D'Amico, who instead has a contract with Atalanta until 2027.
An agreement to release the latter from the Bergamo-based club can still be found, given the excellent relations between the two clubs.
