Clarence Seedorf, former Rossoneri player and coach, gave an interview to La Repubblica newspaper in which he also spoke about Milan and the possible confirmation of Sergio Conceição on the Milan bench in case of victory in the Coppa Italia:
"Evaluations of the coach must be made based on the entire season, not on the result of one or two matches. The same goes for those in positions of power."
On Paolo Maldini, Seedorf said:
"If one day Paolo Maldini could return to football? He could be useful to Milan, to the National Team, or to any organization if he’s truly able to make decisions. Everyone appreciated his work. And Paolo embodies the true values of sport."
