AC Milan is thinking about redeeming the card of Riccardo Sottil. The winger, who arrived in the winter from Fiorentina to complete the attacking department, is highly regarded within the Rossoneri club. And there are other characteristics that could lead to his confirmation: he is young, he has always done well when called upon (five matches in Serie A, two in the Coppa Italia), and he is Italian, as pointed out by Milannews.it.

The cost of the card would be around 11 million euros. That is the agreed figure for the redemption, although it will still need to be seen whether Milan will ask for at least a discount on the amount, or instead request to renew the loan for another year. Much will then depend on the new sporting director, because Sottil will be evaluated through the eyes of the new executive.
Sottil himself, a few weeks ago, spoke this way about the new adventure at the club of his dreams:
"When you're inside, you understand how big it is. I was and am a Milan fan. For me, it is a great pride to be able to wear this shirt. Milan is great, its history and its trophies say it all. For me, it's an honor to wear this shirt, I’m very happy to be here."
On who he looks up to, the 25-year-old left-winger said:
"I also said it at my first press conference, when I was little, I had a soft spot for Alexandre Pato. I still remember his first match against Napoli; it was a Milan full of great champions. There were Ibra, Seedorf, and Ronaldo, but I had a soft spot for him.”
