Cesc Fàbregas, coach of Como, gave a long interview to 'Corriere dello Sport', on newsstands today. Here are some of his statements.
On when his professional future will be known:
"I don't know, nothing has been decided yet. I need a short break at the end of the season, a moment to breathe before sitting down at the table with Como... I consider myself very lucky because here the day-to-day management is the same whether you win or lose. The discussion is constant. I demand a lot, it’s true, because one thing that Conte taught me and repeated a few days ago is the essence of our job. The one whose backside is always on the line is only the coach’s, it's a matter of internal and external expectations."
On Como as his priority for next season, Fabregas commented:
"I need to understand where we want to go. And how. Yes, the priority is Como."

On possible approaches from other clubs:
"It’s normal that someone has come forward. There are teams looking for a coach or a player. They call, and that’s fine. That’s how it is, we shouldn’t lie to people. It happens everywhere. Do you think no one has called Simeone all these years? Yet he's still at Atlético. There is a timing for everything."
On being courted by Monchi when he was sporting director of Roma:
"When I was at Chelsea, he looked for me for Roma. I was going through a difficult time. Conte, just arrived, was using Matić and Kanté in midfield in the 3-4-3. These are situations that happen, but I wasn’t living it well. I had to push very hard to be appreciated by him and find space. Well, during that period I spoke with Monchi for Roma and with Gazidis for Milan. They both wanted me."
On Italy being in his destiny, Fabregas said:
"I have to say yes. Ancelotti also made an attempt when he was at Napoli. One evening he was at a restaurant with his wife and when Darren saw him he told me, 'You’ll see, Carlo will ask you to go to Napoli.' It was the first thing he said to me when he shook my hand: 'Are you ready to come with me?'"
