Interviewed this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, former coach Fabio Capello, while commenting on the draw at the Olimpico between Lazio and Juventus, also spoke about Milan and Bologna.
Is Bologna out of the race after the defeat against Milan?
"For Italiano, the Champions League race is now more uphill. I didn’t understand why Bologna gave up at the end at San Siro: they had taken the lead with Orsolini, then conceded three basic goals. Maybe, even just unconsciously, they started thinking about Wednesday’s Coppa Italia match."

Speaking of Milan: should the Rossoneri be kicking themselves over the Champions League?
"Milan’s position in the standings says one thing, their style of play says another. Lately, the results have come, but even when Milan wins, they give up a lot and only play for twenty minutes. Recently, goalkeeper Maignan has been doing very well. This isn’t a Milan that dominates. The positive aspect is that they always react: not a minor detail."
Capello added:
"Of course, considering how much they spent on the transfer market, the Rossoneri will have some regrets about their current position and the Champions League. Let’s see how the Coppa Italia final goes: Milan has something more than Bologna, provided everyone plays at one hundred percent. But back to the previous point: the Rossoneri are unpredictable. You never know if they’ll play for twenty minutes or a full match. For Bologna, it’s a historic opportunity."
