Geoffrey Moncada, Rossoneri Technical Director, spoke to Mediaset ahead of the Coppa Italia final between Milan and Bologna. These were the statements of the French executive:
The importance of this trophy for you... Tonight, unlike the Supercoppa, are you the favorites?
"We are not favorites. But it's a final, we have to win. We have done great work to get here. There is no other option for us, only victory."
The future of Sergio Conceiçao:
"It does not depend on tonight. We have the utmost trust in him, he is a great worker. I work every day with him and Zlatan at Milanello. He knows how to win these matches, he is very strong at this."
On contract renewals:
"We are working, truly. Tonight we are thinking about the match. At the end of the season everything will be clearer."
Are you angry about this season ending so positively while there has been an inconsistent path in the league? Moncada said:
"It's the cup. The cup is very different from the league. In the league we made mistakes in matches, dropped points against the smaller teams. We are working hard, we have clear ideas to come back next year."
