Following the qualification for the playoff phase of the Primavera 1 championship, after beating Genoa 3-1, the Milan youth team coach, Mister Guidi, shared his thoughts on the victory against Genoa. These are the statements collected by MilanPress.it:

"The qualification was a very strong emotion, an enormous satisfaction because since I’ve been doing this job, perhaps it was the greatest emotion I’ve ever felt—more than the victories I’ve achieved in the past in other places. We overcame many difficulties, it is a historic result because this year the championship is U20. Entering the playoff bracket with the youngest team in the league was an unthinkable result at the beginning of the season, combined with the many boys we have this evening in an extremely important match with Milan Futuro: we have 6 or 7 players called up by Mister Oddo. These are double satisfactions, because we reached the playoffs in the most important match of the championship. We also faced it with boys who, over the course of this season, have had less playing time. This is a sign of an extremely healthy group that knows how to go beyond difficulties, that puts the ‘we’ before the ‘I’. It’s a satisfaction for the coach, for the staff, to coach these kinds of boys, these kinds of groups. It is a very strong emotion, they give me a lot of joy. Today there is truly a lot of emotion and a lot of satisfaction."
The Milan Primavera boss, Guidi, said:
"Today the work was rewarded; it was a victory of sacrifice and difficulty, which were enormous. At the beginning of the season, the playoffs—in a championship that, for the first time, opens up to U20 and is faced with the youngest team in the league—was an unthinkable result. Achieving it is a sign of the work done, which certifies the path these boys have taken and how much they have grown."
