AC Milan announced its return to Perth, Western Australia, as part of the Club's Pre-Season Tour 2025, with the Rossoneri set to take on Perth Glory at HBF Park on Thursday, 31 July.

The match will mark the final stop on AC Milan's Asia-Pacific Tour this summer, which also includes fixtures against Arsenal FC in Singapore and Liverpool FC in Hong Kong.

This encounter will see AC Milan face off against Perth Glory, one of Australia's most established and decorated football clubs, which competes in the A-League, Australia’s premier football competition.

The return to Perth highlights the strong and enduring connection between AC Milan and Australia, following the Club's successful visit to the city in 2024, which saw the Rossoneri face AS Roma at Optus Stadium in front of over 56,000 spectators - marking the first-ever encounter between two Serie A teams on Australian soil.

Over the years, AC Milan has maintained a robust bond with the country, boasting a passionate following of over 2 million fans nationwide, and several active Fan Clubs in pivotal cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide. Across the broader Asia-Pacific region, AC Milan proudly stands as the most-followed Italian football club, with a fanbase that has grown significantly in the past few years (by over 20 million since 2022) - a testament to the Club's enduring global appeal and dynamic engagement strategy.

Beyond its fanbase, AC Milan’s relationship with Australia has been long and multifaceted, particularly with younger generations of football enthusiasts. Between 2007 and 2018, the Club brought its Milan Junior Camp program to cities across Australia, offering grassroots players an opportunity to develop their football skills while embracing the Rossoneri's core values of passion, teamwork, and excellence.

The Club's connection to Australia extends beyond the pitch and has been reinforced over time through social impact initiatives led by Fondazione Milan, the Rossoneri's official charity. These include the Welcome Football project in Melbourne, which used the power of sport to promote the social inclusion of children from migrant backgrounds, and a collaboration with Perth SC Blind Football Team and Blind Sports WA to support the development of blind soccer in Perth - two initiatives that reflect the Club's enduring commitment to fostering inclusion and community engagement around the world.

With the announcement of the Perth fixture, AC Milan completes the picture of its Pre-Season Tour 2025, which will see the Rossoneri travel across Singapore, Hong Kong and Western Australia. The Tour not only reaffirms the Club's global vision but also underscores its commitment to connection with its passionate international fanbase, strengthen ties with local stakeholders, drive commercial growth and reinforce AC Milan's brand strength on a global scale.
