Milan’s league campaign, despite there being one final match left to play, is over.
The standings will not improve, and there is no longer a way to reach Europe next year. Thus comes to an end a season of: ninth place in the league, a lost Coppa Italia final, elimination in the Champions League playoffs, and one Italian Super Cup won. A dreadful record, as described by Milan Press.

The Rossoneri, with these poor results, will run a very high risk: seeing their top players leave.
A serious and credible project will certainly be needed to convince them to stay, in addition to a few urgent contract renewals (Maignan and Theo).
Some interest, however, is beginning to emerge: as reported by DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando on his X profile, a Spanish club, namely Atlético Madrid, is reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Rafael Leao from AC Milan.
Leao feels good in Rossonero, but his departure for an irresistible offer is certainly not out of the question right now. For the moment, though, the Italian journalist notes that it is only an inquiry, no offer has been received.
