Igli Tare is reportedly set for a Milan role as parties should sort out details for a final agreement. The former Lazio executive will immediately have to deal with several delicate cases, such as the contract renewals that have been put on standby in recent weeks.

Matteo Moretto, journalist for Relevo, spoke about this on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel. These were his words:
"One of the first issues Tare will have to deal with is that of the many renewals, various situations that are still stuck at Casa Milan. One of these is that of Pulisic, who does not have a contract expiring soon, nor a short-term one — it runs until 2027 with an option for 2028 — but Milan has been negotiating his renewal for several months now. The parties have almost reached the contract stage. They have a verbal agreement, they’ve discussed figures and terms, including salary adjustments.
Pulisic wanted to understand Milan's project...
"But then at a certain point, Pulisic asked for and took time because he wanted to clearly understand Milan’s sporting project in terms of the sporting director and the coach. He wants guarantees about the future. Pulisic's agent is very active, offering the player both in Italy and abroad. However, the player is under contract with Milan, and in my opinion, once things become clearer, a contract extension could happen. But as of today, the renewal is on standby — just like those of Maignan and Theo, though for different reasons. Tare will have to sort out these situations.”
