The first edition of the “Aldo Bet” Tournament is born, a youth football event that will take place at the sports field of Solbiate Arno, over two days dedicated to grassroots categories.
The opening day will be held on Saturday, May 25, and will feature the Primi Calci 2017 (First Kicks 2017). On this occasion, AC Milan will take the field with its young athletes born in 2017, together with the following participating clubs: Solbiatese, Morazzone, B.B. Academy, Bosto, Besnatese, Ardor Busto, and Ispra.
The matches will begin at 9:30 a.m. The tournament will continue on Saturday, June 15, with the competitions reserved for the Under-10 Pulcini category.
The event is created with the goal of celebrating the memory and sporting legacy of Aldo Bet, a reference figure for Italian football and for the Rossoneri world. Raised in AC Milan’s youth sector, Bet made his debut with the First Team in 1967, contributing to the conquest of a European Cup, an Intercontinental Cup, and two Coppa Italia titles. An elegant and determined defender, he wore the jerseys of major Italian clubs for over a decade, leaving an indelible memory in the hearts of fans.
